The company said it has received reports of a new report from the National Highway Research Council (NHRC) that it has identified a possible connection between Tadalafil and erectile dysfunction (ED).
A U. S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) advisory panel unanimously voted 18-6 to recommend that NHRC recommend that the product labeling for Tadalafil should be removed from the label of all drugs that treat ED, such as Viagra (sildenafil), Cialis (tadalafil) and Levitra (vardenafil).
The NHRC found that the manufacturer had submitted the new drug application (NDA) for Tadalafil to the FDA on March 10, 2018, with the FDA advising that the company would not be able to obtain NDA approval for ED drugs.
In July 2018, the FDA requested that the NDA for Tadalafil be re-written and amended on October 27, 2018, and the FDA notified NHRC that the product labeling for Tadalafil has changed.
The manufacturer and drug manufacturer did not comment on the re-written request for Tadalafil and the re-written request for the NDA. The FDA has not received any response.
The product labeling for Viagra has been revised to reflect the latest evidence. Viagra, which was first approved for marketing in 1998, is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor, approved for use by men who have difficulty or do not respond to oral sexual stimulation and for use as needed by men with erectile dysfunction.
The FDA has not issued any communication about the re-written request for the NDA. However, the FDA has provided the following response:
“The proposed labeling of Tadalafil for ED drugs is not consistent with FDA regulations regarding labeling changes. The proposed labeling is consistent with the labeling requirements for labeling change in the current labeling of prescription drugs and currently approved products, and is not consistent with the requirements of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDCA). The labeling changes proposed by NHRC and FDA are being driven by the FDA’s desire to address the concerns associated with the use of phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors, and to address the concerns associated with the use of tadalafil, vardenafil, or cialis, in treating erectile dysfunction.
The proposed labeling for the erectile dysfunction drug product is consistent with current FDA regulations regarding labeling change and the FDCA. The new labeling will be for erectile dysfunction drugs, including phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors, as they are being evaluated by the FDA. The FDA has requested that labeling changes not be reported to the FDA in the future.
The new labeling for the erectile dysfunction drug product is consistent with the current FDA regulations regarding labeling change and the FDCA. The new labeling will be for erectile dysfunction drugs, including tadalafil, vardenafil, and cialis. The labeling change for tadalafil will be for erectile dysfunction drugs, including tadalafil, vardenafil, and cialis. The labeling change for vardenafil will be for erectile dysfunction drugs, including tadalafil, vardenafil, and cialis.
The FDA has not received any response from NHRC that the company has received reports of a new product for Tadalafil that may be associated with a new indication for Tadalafil. However, the company has received no information from NHRC regarding the potential drug for which the new product may be approved. In any event, the company is not required to report the new drug indication to the FDA.
The company has determined that it is not an appropriate candidate for the new drug indication. The new drug indication would not be appropriate for a brand name drug that is currently being marketed. The company has not approved a brand name drug for erectile dysfunction. The company has determined that the new drug indication would not be appropriate for a brand name drug that is currently being marketed. The company is not required to report the new drug indication to the FDA. In any event, the company is not an appropriate candidate for the new drug indication.

https://care.healthylife.com.1.Nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate): Cialis and nitrates both lower blood pressure. Taking them together can cause a significant and potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure (hypotension), leading to dizziness, fainting, or even heart attack or stroke. It is contraindicated to use Cialis with nitrates or recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrites).
2.Alpha-blockers (e.g., prazosin, terazosin, tamsulosin): Both Cialis and alpha-blockers relax blood vessels, which can lead to excessive blood pressure reduction when used together. This may result in dizziness, fainting, or orthostatic hypotension (a sudden drop in blood pressure when standing). If needed, your doctor may adjust the dosage or recommend spacing the medications.
3.Other antihypertensive drugs (e.g., atenolol, propranolol, enalapril, lisinopril): Cialis can enhance the blood-pressure-lowering effects of these medications. While this interaction is usually less severe than with nitrates or alpha-blockers, it can still cause dizziness or fainting in sensitive individuals. Close monitoring of blood pressure is recommended.
